Every child needs care today and a bright tomorrow. We have children in poverty and an economy that has little room for them. We need all children, rich and poor, to be cared for, and to share a generous future.

Let’s keep the focus for this election on what we all need: a real economy. If politicians are talking about other things let’s remind them what hard working people need: a real economy, with jobs for everyone.

It is the spirit with which we dance, and not the grace of our bodies, that makes us human.

More and more people are feeling the heat of an economy that is skewed against hard working regular folks. The solution is not more of the same. So when and how will regular folks get back into the money loop?

Community: Getting things done together, for thousands of years.

A recipe for trouble. When people’s work, dignity and social support systems are taken away from them, and marketing sells “the good life” to them constantly, it can’t be a surprise that some people get frustrated, make poor decisions and end up in prison. We need more social services, not fewer, and we need jobs for everyone, so we can all have dignity.

It’s time for a reset! Let’s get back to focusing on what regular people need – not what the corporations or the wealthy want. Why? Because people matter most!

Young people deserve a good job and a bright future. Let’s encourage decisions that put people first.

Good things grow when people share their skills, strengths and encouragement.

Helping others does more than you think: it creates joy – in the people being helped, and in those doing the helping.
